Lily was full from the feast, but happy that she was their none the less. She walked up the long way to the Gryffindor tower. It was such a long walk especially after a feast like that. Tummy full she finally reachered her dorm room, and noticed that her trunk was already their next to her bed. She smiled, and just plopped down on the bed wondering if anyone else was going to come up it was the first night after all. They had classes the next morning, hopefully exams won't be too hard this year.

Emily felt extreemely full. The feast always made her eat more than she normally did. But despite all the food she was extreemely glad to be back at Hogwarts. It had been too long. She missed all her friends. They were like her family. But still, the memory of last year was stuck in her head. The death of Maura Leighton, a muggleborn girl. Worse of all it was near Hogwarts. She had overheard some Slytherins make comments about it. Pointing out the ones who would probably be next to die. Emily shook the thoughts out of her mind and walked into the dormitory.
She noticed Lily was already there on the bed. Emily plopped next to her roomate. "Hey Lily." she said sitting next to her friend. "How was your summer?" she asked with a kind smile at the red haired emerald eyed girl. The one which James was basically obssessed with.

Lily smiled as she heard someone enter the room, and saw that it was one of her best friends Emily. They had been best friends for as long as she could remember. They had actually met on the Hogwarts Express. Emily needed a compartment to sit in, and Lily didn't know anyone at the time, so they shared. She then smiled at her friend as she sat next to her.
"Hello Emily. It wasn't too bad my sister Petunia you know the one I've been telling you about is getting married. So, all summer its been mostly about the wedding." She said to her as she shook her head. Sure she was happy for her sister that she was finally getting her dreams come true, but they never got along because Lily was well a witch. Petunia was ok with it for like the first year, after that she got annoyed about it and started calling her freak, and stuff like that. "Anyways how was your summer?" She asked her friend.

Emily nodded at what Lily said. She always hated how Petunia treated Lily. From what she heard Em would probably not get along with Petunia. She widened her eyes about the news of the wedding. "She's getting married? With who? How does he treat you?" she asked in shock of the news. She wondered who would want to marry Lily's sister. But more importantly, did Petunia sabotauge the guy to be cruel to Lily. "Sorry, too many questions. But I hope you invite me, your best friend." she said fluttering her eyelashes trying to look innocent with a giggle.
Em shrugged. "What can I say? It was normal. The usual. Except one thing kept bothering me." she said. She knew when she said it was normal that Lily knew who she spent her time with. Her neighbor James. But the one thing bothering Emily hasn't gotten out of her head. "Everywhere I look I see her face. It's scary Lils. Ever since Maura was murdered last year in the forest, I keep seeing her face." she said her heart pounding just by thinking of it. Last year Maura was found dead, killed by a follower of the new You-Know-Who guy.
